The most recent model, which was unveiled in early 2019, is, in my opinion, the Duo Nova. The most obvious distinction is in the lids. Earlier models, like the Duo, needed you to manually set the pressure sealing valve each time you intended to prepare food, which many people would forget to do. The Duo Nova, on the other hand, features an automatic pressure sealing valve. On earlier iterations, the steam release and sealing valve were combined into one, but on the Duo Nova, they are separate, allowing you to keep your fingertips away from the steam discharge. The Duo Nova is great because you can put the top on and forget about it until you need to open it or vent, but I've never tried the older Duo.
